Product Description

The maximum diameter is 42.5mm.

Heavy duty clamping style motor mount set for the 8ight-XE.

The 7075 alloy construction offers improved motor cooling because the stock rubber gaskets are removed therefore allowing the motor heat to directly transfer through the mounts and into the chassis. In addition, a fan bar is included that attaches to the motor mounts allowing the use of a high powered 40mm cooling fan.

The new universal 1/8 motor clamping style also makes for easier motor install and removal- simply remove the 2 upper clamps to lift the motor right up and out.

Lastly the motor position has been lowered by 1.5mm for a lower center of gravity.

 

Always use blue thread lock and do not over tighten screws.

    Then grab 1 of these and a 40mm fan. Works great, transfers more heat to the chassis then the stick mount and the fan mount makes adding a fan ez and positions the fan in a good spot that wont rub on your body.

    The motor mount is a great stock replacement and no figureing out what orings to run on diffrent motors. Wont work on larger dia. Motors like fantom. Only down side is i have yet to find a fan that can hold up to 1/8 abuse.

    Finally! I've been waiting for a company to produce an alternative motor mount. Takes a larger range of can sizes and has the fan mount integrated.

    I liked everything about my XE except the motor mount. The design makes it finicky when tightening everything down and setting gear mesh.

    This mount solved all my concerns. Because it doesn't put itself on a bind when tightened down it greatly simplifies setting gear mesh where it should be.

    Fit and finish are excellent, Installation was quick and easy.
